Every piece begins with a natural skin selected for its character, depth, and individuality — no two alike, and nothing concealed. Through traditional vegetable tanning, it is slowly refined using natural tannins, developing richness, durability, and a tone that feels inherently natural — a process rooted in the use of bark, which gives Tanbark its name. 

It is then shaped through craftsmanship — not produced but carefully transformed. Each form is considered, balanced, and guided by the nature of the skin itself.

From this process emerge Tanbark’s signature pieces — rugs and leather calligraphy — where texture, tone, and natural character define the final expression.

Placed within refined interiors, these pieces introduce a quiet sense of structure and presence.
